The third InterGrad Campus will be hosted from November 2 to 4, 2026 by the Universisity of Applied Science Merseburg under the overarching theme of Green Technologies & Advanced Materials. The event will take place in the lecture hall building (Hörsaalgebäude) on the campus of Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, Eberhard-Leibnitz-Straße 2, 06217 Merseburg.The tentative program will be published soon on this website.All participants of the InterGrad-EGD project received registration information by E-Mail.

Excursion Berlin

Events
The programme in Berlin Mitte begins with a visit to the Saxony-Anhalt State Representation. A guided tour in the futurium is the next programm slot before visiting the Reichstagskuppel of the Bundestag. In the evening, we will be given an exclusive guided tour of the Federal Chancellery.The second day starts with a lecture programme of Klima Allianz in the rooms of the Naturschutzbund. In the afternoon, we will visit the company HERE Technologies.

All interested students, staff and lecturers were warmly invited to the public part of the Campus event on Tuesday 2 December 2025 from 1.00 pm to 3.45 pm, which took place in the Audimax in Building 9 (Papierfabrik) and was held in English. The focus was on Green IT, the Campus’s key theme. In a keynote speech, Anna Zagorski from the Federal Environment Agency provided a detailed introduction to the topic and presented projects at federal level, such as the ‘Blue Angel’ sustainability label for software, which was awarded for the first time in the summer of 2025.This was followed by four specialist presentations from Harz University of Applied Sciences, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, as well as a contribution from neuland – Büro…

Delegation visit Brussels

From 22 to 24 September 2025, the InterGrad-EGD project organised a delegation visit to Brussels. The aim of the visit was to strengthen academic and institutional exchanges with European stakeholders and to gain insights into the European Union’s decision-making processes in the context of the European Green Deal. During various discussions with representatives of European institutions, research and networking organisations, and universities, current developments in European research and innovation policy were discussed. The focus was on topics such as sustainability, climate action, digitalisation, research funding and international cooperation.
